in the midst of pain, i choose to love and sing when i face the darkest places of my soul. i will never give up. these secret scars do not define me. i am beautiful. i am free. i will fight no matter what it takes. i’m not afraid but i can’t face this on my own. yes i am broken. yes my heart aches. i will never give up. if you are facing depression, suicide, or self harm, do NOT give up. you will get through it. it’s hard. it’s painful, but it’s worth it.

I need motivation to stop cutting and to live so I’ve found an empty note book where I will write everyone URL down if they reblog this. It will be my way of convincing my self people care. So every time I go to cut or I feel suicidal all I have to do it look at the note book and hopefully it will help

OOPS
OK. Here’s what it comes down to. I’m probably part of the minority here, but I am sick and tired of this God-awful division between societies about gay rights. I happen to be a Christian that doesn’t support gay marriage but do I hate gay people? Absolutely not, so don’t come to that conclusion based on my religion. This country is so messed up, it makes me sick. Gay rights shouldn’t be a political issue. I’m sick of all the hate, the bashing, even the praise of a candidate supporting gay rights as part of their political campaign. But at the same time, I’m heartbroken of all the abuse homosexuals have to face. Nobody and I mean NO ONE should ever have to endure that regardless of ANYTHING. I feel that a lot of people have a distorted view on what LOVE actually is. Love isn’t based on a feeling. Love is hard and it sucks but at the same time it is absolutely the most beautiful thing that could ever exist between two people. But at the same time there are different kinds of love. Not just the romantic. True love is without expectation or condition. It is pure and precious and not something that should be given freely to anyone. It should be treasured. Please don’t distort it. Call me arrogant, selfish, judgmental, whatever the hell you want to call me. That doesn’t change the truth that love never fails.

Just watched the Hollow Crown Henry IV Part 1. Tom Hiddleston was absolutely stunning in it. I had no idea what was happening half the time because I was so distracted by him. Shakespeare is incredibly hard to understand but the language is still beautiful. Time to do my research.
